The West Linn-Wilsonville School District covers 42 square miles in the south metropolitan area of Portland, Oregon. The district includes two towns, West Linn and Wilsonville, and a rural area of Clackamas County. The district is a K-12 public school system with approximately 8,000 students.
The West Linn-Wilsonville School District prides itself on substantial staff development opportunities for its teaching staff. It is the district’s belief that a well-educated staff serves its students well. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores are among the highest in Oregon, and Oregon consistently ranks first or second in SAT scores nationwide for states in which fifty percent or more of the graduating seniors take the test. Approximately 90 percent of all West Linn-Wilsonville graduates go on to two- and four-year colleges.
